In case I don't get the chance to take better pictures before I leave, here a quickie picture of the 30's dress, and the UFO capelet ( 2) with detachable fake furn collar & muff/handbag I have been working on, and almost finished (some hemming to do). Oh and the belt, I changed my mind about that one, at least for now.

I've finished the mustard linen handbag I started the other day, it had a design flaw, due to the handles being rigid (it's the first time I use this sort of handles) there has to be some room at the sides to open the bag, and I didn't account for this, duh. I've followed some people's advice and have made a couple of purses in a similar style to my previous, to sell. They are much simpler because I do not think there would be interest in such expensive ones as I wuold have to price my first (materials and work hours ( Read more... )

It turned out better than I expected. It is something small and with so many pieces I wanted to put as much care as possible in details and finishing. I think it is the thing with more attention to detail I have ever sewed.

So well, last weekend I did som more work on the skirt, I was just too tired to update here, and then later I forgot.
